A long time in the planning stage, we also finally have tickets available for a charity ghost investigation that will take place on Thursday, September 4th at 9:30PM. The Off-Broadway Theater on Main Street in downtown SLC has donated their haunted venue for the evening and all proceeds (100%) will be given directly to the Lost Limbs Foundation (501c3) to assist amputee children with medical expenses and prosthetics.
Ben has worked with the foundation's founder, Mike Couch, since the founding of his organization and has truly developed a passion for Mike's vision in helping children in need. Mike made the difficult decision to have a surgical amputation when a lifelong medical condition related to abnormal veins in his leg, made the pain too difficult to endure. Mike remembers that the pain was only half of his challenge. The remainder of his struggles involved paying for surgeries and custom prosthetics. He started the Lost Limbs Foundation to assist families with the trials he overcame, so their children can resume an active life as normal as possible. This is the first time the foundation has come to Salt Lake and we welcome Mike and thank Salt Lake Comic Con for sponsoring the event.
Ben has investigated the Off-Broadway Theater before and can vouch for occurrences of high strangeness. Many people reported seeing a shadowy figure wander up and down the aisles of the theater and actors have reported a male apparition seen in the mirror of the dressing rooms. Space is limited and all ticket revenues go toward an excellent cause. Don't miss it! Go to www.lostlimbsfoundation.org for tickets!
